Sea Kayaking California's Lost Coast

California's Lost Coast is a rugged stretch of California's Coastline that has no road access.  This makes for a great coastal wilderness backpacking and sea kayaking destination.

The Lost Coast is a magical destination with few people and lots of natural beauty.  Sea kayakers paddling along the 1000 foot cliffs find opportunities to explore rock gardens, arches, sea caves, and often a surf wave or two.  After a day of paddling, one can stretch their legs among the old growth redwood and Douglas Fir trees or kick back with toes in the sand.

LFK's Jeff and Cate love the Lost Coast and sharing it with others.  Their guided trips include interpretation of the flora/fauna, wildlife, and history of the Lost Coast on the water and on the trail.  For those that like to catch their dinner, abalone and rock fishing opportunities are available.

LFK's Lost Coast trips are available as a custom trip.  Paddlers for a Lost Coast trip must be 18 years or older and have a BCU 3 Star Sea Award or comparable skills and approval of LFK.  Contact us for more information on guided trips on the Lost Coast
