First Time Kayakers - Learn to Kayak on the Noyo
Learn the basics with a kayak lesson on the calm waters of the Noyo River Estuary. Each trip is planned with the tides to give you the perfect first kayaking experience. As you learn the basics, we will share with you the wildlife, nature, and history of the Noyo Harbor and Estuary. With over 15 years kayaking and instructing beginners on the Noyo, we know how to make that first kayaking experience magical (warning kayaking can become habit forming)
Sea Kayak Lessons and Custom Classes
LFK’s sea kayak lessons are customized for each student. Let us know your current skills and goals so we can develop a custom sea kayak lesson for you. Lessons are available for all skill levels so join us for your first sea kayaking experience, rock garden or surf zone instruction, ACA Skills Assessment, or ACA Instructor Training. Custom classes are available for your club or group - consider LFK for guide and leadership trainings, incident management, or other specific skills instruction.
Lessons can be 3 hours, full day, or a combination. Our 3 hour lessons are easily booked online. For full day or other, please contact us.
